Description: VF. The coinage of the Rhone Valley is hard to identify by tribe. The Voconces, who were settled between the Cavares and the Allobroges are the best choice. They were surrounded by the Sequanes and the Helvetii to the north and east. They controlled river traffic on the Rhone at the entrance to Lake Geneva.
