Description: VF, softly struck reverse, roughness. The obverse imitates the denarii of the Roman Republic gens Calpurnia. The reverse imitates the denarii of Q. Titius dating to the year 90/88 BC (Crawford 341/1-2). Julius Caesar appointed Tasgetius as King of the Carnutes in 57 BC - he was murdered by his compatriots in 54 BC.
