Description: XF. Ex Harlan J Berk Buy or Bid Sale 197 (27 April 2016), lot 392 with his tag. From the auction: Vabalathus wears both a diadem and a laurel wreath. This fact has been overlooked in most of the current handbooks, although it was pointed out in 1870 by A. von Sallet in his book "Die Daten der Alexandrinischen Kaisermünzen".
